The 82 Alliance Recognizes Recipients of Inaugural ‘A Better Tomorrow’ Awards

The 82 Alliance, a nonprofit mobility think tank focused on bringing the public and private sectors together to reimagine how people move throughout our communities, recognized the recipients of the inaugural ‘A Better Tomorrow’ Awards at the 2024 Mobility Conference. The ‘A Better Tomorrow’ Awards recognize organizations for their focus and investments on mobility and sustainability initiatives that work to create change and improve transportation systems. 25 organizations, including transit agencies, universities, transportation companies, and private companies were recognized.

“Congratulations to our inaugural A Better Tomorrow award winners. These awards recognize organizations, nationally and internationally, that are making investments to help reduce trips, enhancing our built environment, improving equity and accessibility for all. Mobility and climate are interconnected and to improve our climate, health, accessibility, and equity we need to improve our mobility options. In addition to the awards that each recipient received, we’ve also donated twenty-five trees for our inaugural list of recipients that will help to repopulate one of our U.S. Forests that is under stress from climate”-Rob Henry, President of The 82 Alliance
